Research Intern Position

Job Qualifications

Requirements Include: Ambitious, resourceful, self-directed individual. Ideal candidate will be working toward a business or engineering degree or hold a degree in one (1) of those areas. Individual must have knowledge of research methods, understanding of economics or the concepts of supply demand and capital markets. Financial and modeling skills are helpful and strong written and oral communication skills are required. A strong interest in environmental and energy markets is preferred. Technology Intern Position

Job Qualifications

Requirements Include: Ambitious, resourceful, self-directed individual. Intern must have strong analytical and problem solving skills. Technology Interns must be able to independently resolve problems encountered in algorithms, user requirements, user testing and system testing. An ideal candidate will be working toward a quantitative science or information technology degree or hold a degree in one (1) of those areas. Intern will be asked to illustrate or discuss past projects either from work experience or class projects. Specific technical skills include the programming languages of JavaScript, ASP/ASP.NET, HTML, DHTML, XML, and SQL. Applicant must also be well versed in all Adobe products including Adobe Photoshop; other products include Visio, MS Windows/Office, UML, SQL Server 2000, and Microsoft Access 2003. Analyst Position

Job Description

Requirements Include: Ambitious, resourceful, self-directed individual. Ideal candidate would have one (1) year investment banking (M&A or Leveraged Finance dept.) and/or management consulting. Individual must have solid knowledge of research methods, understanding of economics or the concepts of supply demand and capital markets. Advanced financial and modeling skills are needed to succeed as well as strong written and oral communication skills. Business judgment, unquestionable integrity and credibility are critical. Associate Position

Requirements Include: The best candidate will have a MBA from a top business school and Bachelor degree in Sciences or Finance with 1-3 years related experience. Must be able to work well with people and be self motivated. Banking and consulting experience a plus. Associate candidates are bright entrepreneurial persons able to perform in a combination finance/research role.

Responsibilities Include: The associate will be responsible for making presentations to the partners, investors, and customers; work closely with environmental compliance experts; develop financial models; and provide due diligence and analysis. The role will be broad at first and the candidate may choose to focus on asset management, financial services or investments as they develop an understanding of the business.

Must be able to work well with people, be detail oriented and be self motivated. Prior research experience is a plus. Ideally the candidate will be a bright entrepreneurial person to work into a managerial role.

Risk Management Associate

Job Qualifications

Requirements include: The ideal candidate will have a graduate degree, MBA or Masters in a relevant discipline, CFA charterholder/FRM certification or progress towards such professional designation. Project management experience and prior experience building trading and risk management product infrastructure with a minimum of three (3) years work experience with financial or commodity markets and instruments. Ability to manage concurrent projects involving multiple departments, a solid understanding of risk management concepts and experienced drafting risk policies is a must. Programming experience and credit analysis experience is desirable. The candidate must be able to work well with people, be detail oriented and self motivated. Applicants must be able to demonstrate excellent communication skills and presentation skills.

Job Description

The Risk Management Associate will help create and direct the risk policies, methodologies and risk measurement processes. The role will be working with various department heads to garner information and impart process requirements both verbally and in a written format. The Associate will report directly to the Vice President of Structuring and Risk Management and support the Vice President in managing ongoing system development, process development and departmental coordination.

Emissions Trading Position

Job Description

Responsibilities Include: The Emissions Trading Associate will manage some client interface, assist in asset management, structure, and evaluate of market opportunities and emerging regulations within the emissions space. The Associate will report directly to the Managing Director of the Division and support the Managing Director in managing client relationships and trading.

Development Project Manager Position

Job Qualifications

Requirements Include: The best candidate will have a BA/BS in engineering or related studies and at least three (3) years of relevant experience. A candidate must be willing and available to travel and possess and demonstrate clear communication and interpersonal skills.

Job Description

Responsibilities Include: The Development Project Manager position will select development sites for renewable development and develop a project budget which they will manage the entire development effort against. The Project Manager will manage all issues surrounding land acquisition. They will manage all related project environmental and permitting activities; additionally they will oversee project design and interconnection activities.

Development Wind Resource Analyst Position

Job Qualifications

Requirements Include: The best candidate will have a BA/BS in engineering or related studies and one (1) year of relevant experience. Candidate must have a working knowledge of GIS software. Strong analytical and statistical skills are also pre-requisites. A potential candidate must have and be able to demonstrate clear communication and interpersonal skills.

Job Description

Responsibilities Include: The Wind Resource Analyst position will perform early site identification and conduct all required site analysis. Analyst will initiate wind data collection and will manage the analysis and interpretation of that data. Based upon all site analysis the Wind Resource Analyst will design and layout the plan for site utilization. Wind Resource Analyst will work closely with Development Project Manager to transition the site from early stage analysis to the early development stage and construction.
