    Responsibilities:
    - Demonstrate understanding of supply and demand data analytics for greenhouse gas (GHG) markets and effectively present to both internal and external audiences
    - Interface with clients and effectively communicate an understanding of the markets and how Element Markets’ solutions add value
    - Research and communicate to staff new opportunities within existing and emerging markets
    - Help formulate go to market strategies in coordination with team members

    Responsibilities:
    - Acquire and be able to demonstrate thorough knowledge of Element Markets’ renewable natural gas marketing services in order to effectively communicate with clients and provide a high degree of professional client service
    - Build and strengthen relationships with clients of the renewable natural gas division through regular communications, meetings, and other business interactions. Typical clients who will be interacting with this role are renewable natural gas producers and dispensers located throughout the United States.
    - Serve as the consistent customer point of contact and advocate from close of sale/contract origination through day-to-day operations
    - Facilitate new client onboarding processes, including introductions to personnel, standard processes and technical resources such as the client portal
    - Prepare regular customized reports, as well as personalized recommendations of potential service offerings
    - Be accountable for same-day responses to all inquiries, timely submission of statements and other contracted deliverables, and calendar management

  • Renewable Energy Certificate (REC) Manager - Houston, TX

    The REC Manager is responsible for managing the existing portfolio of Renewable Energy Certificate clients of the company and will work to expand the company’s relationships and success in the environmental commodity marketplace. The REC Manager will lead the growth of the business by establishing market strategy, leading origination, asset management, and account management.

    Responsibilities:
    - Manage Element Markets’ portfolio of US-based Renewable Energy Certificates.
    - Provide asset management service to clients
    - Responsible for developing market strategy
    - Act as originator and account manager for all REC business. Secure strategic partnerships
    - Build and lead REC Origination team
    - Provide expertise regarding compliance and voluntary REC markets, ensuring key stakeholders are aware of all new and existing rules and regulations.
    - Act as Element Markets’ primary REC trader
    - Interface and coordinate with carbon desk on providing RECs and carbon offsets to clients
    - Identify and lead investment opportunities in both renewable energy credit positions as well as project investments

    Requirements:
    - Bachelor’s degree
    - 3+ years of experience in REC trading or analytics required
    - Experienced in sales and client management
    - Successful project/task management track record. Attention to detail is a must

    - Drafting technical reports with information collected from renewable fuel production facilities
    - On-going development of systems and procedures to improve efficiency
    - Monitoring project status deadlines and schedules

    Requirements:
    - University Degree or relevant working experience
    - Fluent English (spoken, read, and written)
    - Proficiency with Microsoft Word and Excel
    - Exceptional organizational skills and attention to detail
    - Flexible working schedule (weekly shift changes morning/afternoon/evening)

    Preferred:
    - Participation in Renewable Fuel Standard, Low Carbon Fuel Standard or other renewable fuel compliance program
    - Knowledge in Greenhouse Gas Emission, Carbon Intensity, or Life Cycle Emissions calculations
    - Background in technical report drafting and review
    - Experience reading, understanding, and adapting to regulatory requirements
