    The Executive Assistant will be responsible for supporting the President and Co-President with the many family and office tasks that it takes to run a business and life in general. The ideal candidate will have significant experience supporting C-level executives, will be trustworthy and reliable, and must enjoy working in a fast-paced environment with a great attitude!     Requirements:

  • Financial and Business Development Analyst - Houston, TX

    Responsibilities:
    • Develop and manage comprehensive 3 statement corporate forecast model
    • Manage monthly and quarterly variance process and forecast updates
    • Develop and review detailed financial analysis and complex valuation models on potential acquisitions
    • Evaluate and model potential M&A transactions and other development opportunities.
    • Assist in execution and due diligence for M&A and other business development opportunities.
    • Develop and draft summary materials for presentation to various constituencies, include the board of directors, executive leadership team, and potential transaction partners
    • Review and analyze various forms of information to identify, verify and track new and existing opportunities.
    • Plan, attend, and lead meetings with a variety of project stakeholders; coordinating business development activities with functional groups
    • Research and apply critical thinking to industry trends, competitor dynamics and current events to provide relevant business insights.

    Requirements:
    • Bachelor's degree in finance or related field
    • At least 2 years of investment banking, private equity or equivalent experience preferred
    • Polished financial modeling skills (i.e. IS, BS and Cash Flow)
    • Understand valuation and how to evaluate acquisitions
    • M&A and capital markets related experience is important
    • Excellent excel skills
    • Excellent PowerPoint presentation skills
    • Good communicator and ability to work with variety of people in organization (Executives, BD, operations, accounting)
    • Strategic thinker

  • Greenhouse Markets Analyst - Houston, TX

    Responsibilities:

    - Demonstrate understanding of supply and demand data analytics for greenhouse gas (GHG) markets and effectively present to both internal and external audiences
    - Interface with clients and effectively communicate an understanding of the markets and how Element Markets’ solutions add value
    - Research and communicate to staff new opportunities within existing and emerging markets
    - Help formulate go to market strategies in coordination with team members
    - Support data logging and contract administration
    - Provide analytical support for projects and initiatives to help shape EM’s corporate strategy
    - Research and report on carbon offset protocols—examine new and emerging opportunities for credit generation
    - Work cross-functionally with operations, accounting, legal, and leadership to support internal reporting and financial projections

    Requirements:
    - Bachelor’s degree in finance, engineering, or environmental science field
    - 0-3 years of work experience
    - Demonstrated analytical process thinking and problem solving – prior professional experience, internships and/or collegiate research a plus
    - Successful project/task management track record. Attention to detail is a must
    - Strong skills and proficiency with Microsoft Excel. Data analysis/visualization experience is highly preferred
    - Excellent written and oral communication skills, including a demonstrated ability to communicate analytical data and technical information into layman’s terms
    - Facility or familiarity with commercial frameworks (preferred)
    - Knowledge of relevant regulatory environmental policies and markets preferred
    - Must reside in or be willing to relocate to the Houston area. Position remote to start
    - Must be legally eligible to work in the United States
