Available Positions

  • Materials Handling Equipment (MHE) Origination Manager

    Responsibilities:

    - Identify opportunities to work with OEMs, large forklift fleets, and MHE dealers around environmental credits
    - Establish and manage relationships with the MHE entities
    - Coordinate with internal operations and compliance teams to support customers’ needs
    - Prepare presentations and address questions regarding Element Markets' offerings
    - Contribute to the development and execution of sales plans and marketing efforts to successfully achieve business objectives
    - Utilize market data to adjust sales and marketing tactics for maximum success
    - Utilize existing industry relationships to develop new client relationships
    - Maintain robust sales pipeline through ongoing business development activities
    - Manage the sales process with multiple customers - from prospecting to building value proposition, securing buy-in, and negotiating contracts
    - Provide strategic account management and maintain effective client relationships
    - Evaluate and present opportunities for product and services development

    Requirements:

    - Bachelor’s degree in communications, finance, engineering, or related discipline
    - 5+ years of related work experience
    - Successful business development or sales track record within forklift truck or battery OEMs, MHE dealership, and/or MHE fleet sales organizations
    - Excellent written and oral communication skills, including a demonstrated ability to communicate complex technical information in layman’s terms
    - Knowledge of relevant regulatory environmental policies and markets preferred
    - Must possess an enthusiastic and positive approach to market challenges
    - Well organized, disciplined approach to work with a high level of attention to detail
    - Highly computer literate, with advanced spreadsheet-based skills
    - Must be legally eligible to work in the United States

  • Senior Accountant - Houston, TX

    Responsibilities:

    - Assist in preparation of financial statements and supporting schedules according to monthly close schedule
    - Assist Controller and Accounting Manager with yearly audit
    - Maintain and reconcile balance sheet and general ledger accounts
    - Contribute to the development of new or amended accounting systems, programs, and procedures
    - Be accountable for same-day responses to all inquiries, timely submission of statements and other contracted deliverables, and calendar management
    - Manage interactions with sales/origination, operations, and finance
    - Maintain the accuracy and integrity of subsidiary and general ledgers, reconciling and analyzing accounts

  • Jr. Compliance Analyst, Renewable Fuels - Budapest, Hungary

    Responsibilities:

    - General administrative tasks, recordkeeping, and organizing company information
    - Maintain knowledge base with regulatory requirements and incorporating best practices
    - Compiling and providing monthly transaction documentation to clients and auditors
    - Recordkeeping and tracking of client data, documentation, and internal operations records in accordance with program requirements
    - Assist with filling out templates for data collection checklists and onboarding materials regarding program requirements and for clients in cooperation with client Account Managers
    - Compile large amounts of Excel data to generate reports
    - Perform QA/QC on data collected from renewable natural gas production facilities and identify potential risks
    - Aiding in data aggregation and calculations necessary for life cycle analysis of renewable natural gas to transportation fuel pathways
    - Drafting technical reports with information collected from renewable fuel production facilities
    - On-going development of systems and procedures to improve efficiency
    - Monitoring project status deadlines and schedules

    Requirements:

    - University degree or relevant working experience
    - Fluent English (spoken, read, and written)
    - Proficiency with Microsoft Word and Excel
    - Exceptional organization skills and attention to detail
    - Flexible working schedule (weekly shift changes morning/afternoon/evening)

    Preferred:

    - Participation in Renewable Fuel Standard, Low Carbon Fuel Standard or other renewable fuel compliance program
    - Knowledge of Greenhouse Gas Emission, Carbon Intensity, or Life Cycle Emissions calculations
    - Background in technical report drafting and review
    - Experience reading, understanding, and adapting to regulatory requirements
    - Experience in environmental commodities market participation, verification, QAQC, auditing
    - Experience reading, understanding, and flow chart mapping of contracts or technical documents
    - Experience collecting, aggregating, and organizing high volumes of in-/out-going documents

  • Analyst I, Technology Climate Solutions

    General Summary: As an Analyst I, Technology Climate Solutions, you will join our growing technical and advisory services team where your core focus will be to contribute to a variety of our project types across our client and project portfolios. You will play a key role in quantifying greenhouse gas (GHG) emissions and working with emerging technologies in oil and gas, energy efficiency, agriculture, biogas, methane reduction, biomass, wind power, and waste heat recovery applications. You'll enjoy significant responsibility for the management of your own projects within a supportive and collaborative team environment.

    Primary Responsibilities and Competencies*:

    - Quantification of GHG emissions reductions for projects, facilities and organizations in accordance with recognized protocols and standards;
    - Documenting GHG emissions projects (e.g. preparing Offset Project Plans, Offset Project Reports, GHG inventories, etc);
    - Working with clients and prospective clients to identify GHG reduction opportunities and bringing those projects forward;
    - Liaising with clients to manage the collection and organization of relevant GHG data;
    - Analyzing and understanding a wide variety of industrial processes and datasets – including process descriptions and process variable datasets (e.g. fuel consumption, temperature, pressure, etc);
    - Facilitating the verification/audit of GHG emissions reduction projects by independent third-parties;
    - Evaluating potential greenhouse gas solutions and technologies;

    Required Education, Experience and Certification:

    - Bachelor’s Degree or equivalent in Engineering or science degree(s)
    - 0-2 years of professional experience working in the oil & gas sector, preferably in the field
    - Highly proficient in Microsoft Excel
    - Experience cleaning and troubleshooting data
    - Experience in statistical analysis
    - A high level of numeracy and comfort with interpreting technical (i.e. engineering and scientific) data and performing calculations (preferably in relation to GHGs)
    - A proven track record of meeting deadlines while working on several simultaneous projects (experience in a consulting environment is an asset)

    Preferred Education, Qualifications & Experience:

    - Possess or working towards PEng and/or EP(GHG) designation
    - Certificate from the CSA on GHG quantification or verification using ISO 14064
    - Client management and/or sales experience
    - Direct experience in project and/or facility-level GHG quantification and/or verification
    - French/English bilingualism
