Under the California LCFS program, facilities operating battery electric and zero emissions materials handling equipment are eligible to generate emissions reduction credits. These credits create a new revenue stream for fleet owners, which can be used to offset the cost of ownership, and in most cases, result in a net profit for the fleet owner.
Eligible equipment includes battery electric and hydrogen forklifts, pallet jacks, stackers, reefers, cargo handling equipment, EV delivery vans and trucks, eTRUs, yard hostlers and more.
