Kirsten Higgins joined Element Markets in 2021 as Manager of Structured Products. She is responsible for environmental commodity transaction structuring for Renewable Natural Gas, Renewable Identification Numbers (RINs), and Low Carbon Fuel Standard Credits (LCFS). Prior to joining Element Markets, Kirsten worked in the Integrated Supply & Trading division of BP for seven years, holding various roles including Commodity & Market Risk Manager for crude and asset-based portfolios and Commercial Development Director for environmental products. Her experience spans project managing and implementing large-scale oil, refined product, and biogas deals, evaluating market risk in trading portfolios, and managing diverse teams. She holds a BBA in Information Technology Management from the University of Notre Dame with a minor in Energy Studies.
