Element Markets is pleased to announce the promotion of Mihaly Wekler to Vice President, Operations. Mr. Wekler joined Element Markets two years ago through the acquisition of EnviroStar, a Budapest based environmental analytics company.
As Vice President, he will oversee operations and compliance for the Renewable Natural Gas Desk with a primary focus on the Renewable Fuel Standard (RFS) and the Low Carbon Fuel Standard (LCFS). He will continue to pioneer new RNG pathways to support Element Markets’ expanding RNG marketing business.

He was instrumental in Element Markets being awarded the first individualized Low Carbon Fuel Stand (LCFS) pathway for both landfill gas and wastewater treatment facilities. Mr. Wekler has a Master’s of Science in Environmental Engineering from Budapest University of Technology and Economics.
