Element Markets is pleased to announce that Clinton Snow has joined the company as Associate General Counsel. With over a decade of experience, Mr. Snow will be primarily responsible for managing the day-to-day transactional needs of the business from a legal perspective.

Mr. Snow most recently served as Senior Legal Counsel for Shell Oil Company, where he supported Shell’s commodity trading operations in the Americas as Team Lead for environmental products and power, and was responsible for drafting and negotiating commodity trading agreements and related documentation for physically settled and structured power, liquefied natural gas and environmental products transactions, including biogas, RIN and Low Carbon Fuel Standard, emissions, renewable energy, and greenhouse gas credit transactions. He began his legal career as a Judicial Clerk for The Honorable Robert L. Jones at The United States Bankruptcy Court for the Northern District of Texas and served there for over a year before joining Gardere Wynne Sewell LLP as an associate, where he specialized in bankruptcy and corporate reorganizations, both in and out of court, for over five years.
Mr. Snow received his Juris Doctorate from Texas Tech University School of Law, where he graduated Magna Cum Laude and served as the Lead Articles Editor of the Texas Tech Administrative Law Journal. He also holds a Master of Business Administration in general management from Texas Tech University’s Jerry S. Rawls College of Business, a Bachelor of Science in psychology from Brigham Young University, and an Associate of Science in general studies from Midland College.
